The Presidential Initiative for Zonal Industrial Hubs aimed to uplift Ugandan youth by providing skill training and production centers across the country.
Each of these hubs include a four-acre model or demonstration farm, aligning with President Museveni’s vision of teaching farmers how to benefit economically from small pieces of land. Storage facilities or silos are also part of the hubs, benefiting local communities by allowing them to store cereals during peak seasons for free and use them during off-seasons.
Construction of skilling centres comprising workshop buildings (coffee & Maize processing blocks, Tailoring and knitting, Carpentry, Welding, Shoe making blocks, Bakery, Stone cutting shed, and Block making shed and other supporting facilities complete with external works and M&E installations.
